SAP FI Consultant - General Ledger & Asset Accounting

SOBRE LA OPORTUNIDAD

Join a SAP S/4HANA transformation initiative focused on financial process modernization, with particular emphasis on General Ledger (GL) and Asset Accounting (AA).

This opportunity involves a hybrid working model, with two days per week on-site in Maia, Portugal. Two potential assignment periods are planned: November or December 2026 to May 2027, or September 2027 to January 2028.

QUÉ HARÁS

- Contribute to SAP S/4HANA migration activities within the Financial Accounting domain.
- Analyze financial processes and business requirements related to General Ledger and Asset Accounting.
- Support the definition, configuration and validation of SAP FI functional solutions.
- Participate in financial data migration, transformation and validation activities.
- Execute and support functional and integration testing to verify solution alignment with business requirements.
- Investigate functional issues, identify root causes and contribute to their resolution.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, functional consultants and technical teams throughout project delivery.
- Develop and maintain functional documentation, process descriptions and testing materials.
- Contribute to project milestones through structured execution, effective communication and timely issue management.

LO QUE ESTAMOS BUSCANDO

- Professional experience in SAP FI consulting, particularly within General Ledger and Asset Accounting.
- Previous participation in SAP implementation, migration, rollout or transformation projects.
- Ability to independently analyze financial requirements and contribute to functional solution delivery.
- Strong analytical capabilities and a structured, solution-oriented approach to problem-solving.
- Confidence working with multidisciplinary teams in complex transformation environments.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with business and IT stakeholders.
- Accountability, adaptability and commitment to delivery objectives.
- Dominio profesional de inglés.
- Availability to work on-site in Maia two days per week.

- SAP Financial Accounting (SAP FI).
- General Ledger (GL) configuration and financial accounting processes.
- Asset Accounting (AA) processes and functional configuration.
- SAP FI functional requirements analysis and solution validation.
- Financial data migration and transformation.
- Functional testing, integration testing and issue resolution.
- SAP implementation, rollout and migration methodologies.
- Financial process documentation and optimization.
