.NET Developer

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

We are looking for a Senior .NET Developer to join an IT team in the banking sector, supporting systems used to monitor trading activity, strengthen compliance controls and identify potential fraud or operational anomalies. This opportunity is based in Porto, in a hybrid work model, and focuses on back-end development, data-oriented analysis, application modernization and software robustness.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

- Develop, maintain and optimize back-end applications supporting monitoring, control and compliance-related processes.
- Contribute to the modernization of existing systems, including architecture improvement, technical upgrades and robustness initiatives.
- Design and improve database components, including complex stored procedures, views and data structures.
- Support the implementation of automated testing frameworks to increase application quality and maintainability.
- Apply secure development practices and contribute to DevSecOps adoption within the software delivery lifecycle.
- Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders in an agile environment to analyze requirements and deliver reliable solutions.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

- 6 to 9 years of professional experience in .NET development, with strong autonomy in complex application environments.
- Proven ability to improve application robustness, maintainability and technical architecture.
- Analytical mindset, with the ability to understand data flows, business rules and operational control requirements.
- Initiative, ownership and the ability to contribute to modernization and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Professional working proficiency in English, minimum B2 level.
- Collaborative, responsible and solution-oriented approach aligned with agile delivery practices.
