ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

We are looking for an IT Governance and Vendor Management Analyst to support a financial sector organization in Lisbon, within a hybrid working model. This role focuses on IT budget control, supplier contract management, service performance monitoring and governance practices that support cost optimization, regulatory compliance and continuous improvement.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

- Support the preparation, monitoring and analysis of the IT budget, covering CAPEX, OPEX, annual planning, forecasts and variance analysis.
- Monitor IT service costs and consumption, identifying optimization opportunities and supporting compliance with approved budgets.
- Manage the lifecycle of IT supplier contracts, including onboarding, renewals, amendments and termination activities.
- Follow supplier performance, service levels and SLA compliance, supporting the application of service credits or contractual measures when applicable.
- Validate supplier invoicing and ensure alignment with active contracts, approved services and budget references.
- Support the definition, implementation and maintenance of IT Governance practices, including policies, procedures, roles and responsibilities.
- Contribute to regulatory and normative compliance activities related to IT, outsourcing and third-party risk, supporting internal and external audits.
- Prepare KPIs, dashboards and regular reporting on IT budget, supplier contracts and governance topics to support decision-making.
- Identify opportunities to improve budget management, contract control and governance processes.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

- Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT-related roles, with exposure to budget management, contract management or IT Governance.
- Experience working in critical environments, preferably within the financial sector.
- Good analytical skills, with the ability to organize information, prioritize activities and support data-driven decisions.
- Strong sense of responsibility, initiative and commitment to delivery.
- Clear communication skills, with the ability to interact with both technical and business stakeholders.
- Adaptability to dynamic contexts, with a solution-oriented and collaborative mindset.
- Ability to manage priorities and work effectively under deadlines.

TECHNICAL SKILLS

- IT budget management, including CAPEX, OPEX, forecasting and variance analysis.
- Supplier and contract management in IT environments.
- IT Governance practices, policies, procedures, roles and responsibilities.
- SLA monitoring, service performance analysis and supplier reporting.
- Regulatory and normative compliance related to IT, outsourcing and third-party risk.
- KPI definition, reporting and management information for decision support.
- IT risk and third-party risk management concepts.

NICE TO HAVE

- Knowledge of IT Governance and service management frameworks such as COBIT or ITIL.
- Familiarity with DORA and EBA outsourcing guidelines.
- Previous experience in the financial sector or other regulated environments.
