ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

Join a remote opportunity in Portugal within the enterprise transformation consulting sector, supporting large-scale environments in improving developer experience, modernising software delivery practices and embedding AI-assisted engineering across the software development lifecycle.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

- Design and implement developer experience improvements across tooling, workflows, automation, security and collaboration practices.
- Lead workshops, maturity assessments, roadmaps and technical enablement sessions with engineering and IT leadership stakeholders.
- Embed AI-assisted engineering and automation practices across the software delivery lifecycle.
- Support governance, security and compliance alignment across delivery practices.
- Contribute to discovery, proof-of-value activities and the positioning of developer experience transformation services.
- Build reusable assets, playbooks and accelerators to improve delivery consistency and efficiency.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

- Senior experience in SDLC, DevOps and enterprise developer workflow modernisation.
- Ability to lead client-facing workshops and maturity assessments with autonomy.
- Professional working proficiency in English at C1 level or equivalent.
- Responsible, collaborative and solution-oriented mindset in complex delivery contexts.
- Ownership, clear communication and a continuous improvement mindset.

TECHNICAL SKILLS

- SDLC and DevOps practices.
- CI/CD, version control, automation and platform engineering.
- AI-assisted engineering tools, code-generation assistants and agentic coding practices.
- Developer productivity and workflow optimisation.
- Governance, security and compliance best practices.
- Technical enablement and adoption roadmaps.

NICE TO HAVE

- Familiarity with the Atlassian ecosystem, especially Jira and AI-enabled developer workflow capabilities.
- Experience in regulated environments such as finance, public sector or healthcare.
- Prior consulting delivery experience.

COMPENSATION TRANSPARENCY

Base salary range: EUR 18,000 - EUR 22,000 gross/year
Total compensation: up to EUR 35,000/year
The salary range is based on objective and gender-neutral criteria, including required competencies, professional experience, level of responsibility and role requirements. Final compensation will be determined according to the candidate's profile and position requirements.
