ICT Solution Engineer | Senior

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

We are looking for a Senior ICT Solution Engineer to support the design, architecture and secure implementation of ICT solutions for a business automation programme in the international defence and public sector. This role combines solution architecture, security accreditation support, technical documentation and stakeholder coordination across a high-security project lifecycle.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

- Advise the Project Manager on ICT solution design, architecture and technical decision-making.
- Design and oversee solution architecture across the implementation lifecycle.
- Draft and review technical work packages for on-premises and cloud-based solutions.
- Develop and maintain technical and security documentation for the project.
- Prepare, review and update accreditation documentation sets, including non-functional requirements, accreditation plans, system descriptions and security verification plans.
- Support security approval and accreditation activities required for authorisation to operate.
- Contribute to security testing, verification and evidence collection activities.
- Coordinate with infrastructure providers, security authorities, implementation partners and end-user representatives.
- Facilitate technical discussions and workshops with business and technical stakeholders.
- Prepare regular progress updates for project leadership.
- Support additional project activities related to ICT architecture, delivery and secure implementation.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

- Minimum 8 years of experience in ICT solution design and architecture.
- Strong background in ICT security architecture and security approval or accreditation processes in high-security environments.
- Experience with application integration, enterprise data solutions and implementation methodologies.
- Experience designing and implementing both on-premises and cloud-based ICT solutions.
- Ability to work effectively in complex, international and multi-stakeholder environments.
- Higher education in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Management, Electronic Engineering or a related technical field, or equivalent advanced vocational qualification.
- Excellent technical writing, documentation and presentation skills.
- Professional working proficiency in English.
- Active SECRET-level security clearance suitable for high-security international environments.
- Collaborative, responsible and solution-oriented working style aligned with delivery quality and trust.

COMPENSATION TRANSPARENCY

Base salary range: EUR 18 000 - EUR 22 000 gross/year
Total compensation: up to EUR 35 000/year
