ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
We are looking for a Cloud Engineer to support cloud platform implementation, operation and continuous improvement within the telecommunications sector. This role focuses on secure, scalable and automated cloud infrastructure, working closely with software engineering, DevOps, architecture and security teams.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Implement, operate and improve cloud infrastructure supporting digital applications and services.
- Develop automation for infrastructure provisioning, configuration and lifecycle management.
- Apply Infrastructure as Code practices to promote standardization, repeatability and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with software engineering, DevOps, architecture and security teams to align cloud solutions with technical and security requirements.
- Support containerized workloads and platform reliability across cloud and hybrid environments.
- Contribute to observability, incident analysis and continuous optimization of cloud platforms.
- Promote secure cloud practices across networking, identity and access management, and DevOps workflows.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- 3 to 5 years of experience in Cloud Engineering, DevOps, infrastructure engineering or similar roles.
- Experience supporting cloud environments with autonomy and regular delivery responsibility.
- Analytical thinking and a structured approach to problem solving.
- Collaborative mindset, clear communication and ability to work with multidisciplinary teams.
- Proactivity, responsibility and willingness to keep learning.
- Professional working proficiency in English.
- Experience working in Agile and collaborative delivery environments.
TECHNICAL SKILLS
- Public cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure or Google Cloud Platform.
- Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, CloudFormation or equivalent tools.
- Containers and orchestration with Docker and Kubernetes or OpenShift.
- CI/CD tools such as GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Azure DevOps or similar.
- Linux administration and scripting with Bash or Python.
- Observability tools and practices, including Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Dynatrace or similar.
- Cloud networking, identity and access management, cloud security and DevOps best practices.
NICE TO HAVE
- Experience with OpenShift in enterprise environments.
- Exposure to cybersecurity, information security or cloud governance practices.
COMPENSATION TRANSPARENCY
Base salary range: EUR 18,000 - EUR 20,000 gross/year
Total compensation: up to EUR 30,000/year
The salary range is based on objective and gender-neutral criteria, including required competencies, professional experience, level of responsibility and role requirements. Final compensation will be determined according to the candidate's profile and position requirements.
