That was the focus of another edition of Engineering in Motion, this time organised by Hexa Engineering in partnership with Flexera, bringing together customers, partners and technology leaders in Lisbon for an afternoon dedicated to knowledge sharing, networking and real-world experiences.

As organisations manage increasingly complex technology environments, gaining visibility across software, cloud, SaaS and IT assets has become a strategic priority. More than an operational requirement, effective IT Asset Management is now essential for improving governance, optimising costs, reducing risk and enabling better business decisions.

The event began with an electric tuk-tuk tour through some of Lisbon's most iconic viewpoints before continuing at Faz Figura, where attendees had the opportunity to hear from David Domingos, CEO of Hexa Engineering, and Marco Antonio Cruz Martín, Enterprise Account Executive at Flexera, who shared their perspectives on the growing importance of Software Asset Management, FinOps and technology governance.

One of the highlights of the afternoon was the contribution of Crédito Agrícola Serviços, represented by Jorge Gonçalves, Head of Systems Engineering, who shared the organisation's experience and explained how a structured approach to IT Asset Management can provide greater visibility, operational efficiency and long-term strategic value.
