This is an on-site opportunity in Mons, Belgium, focused on Linux server administration, infrastructure automation, security controls and operational continuity in a classified, mission-critical environment.\n\nWHAT YOU WILL DO\n\n- Administer, maintain and troubleshoot Linux server environments, with a strong focus on RHEL-based systems.\n- Install, configure and support secure Linux infrastructure across distributed technical environments.\n- Implement and maintain system security controls, including firewall configuration, access control, encryption and hardening practices.\n- Develop and use automation scripts and configuration management practices to improve consistency, repeatability and operational efficiency.\n- Support virtualized environments and contribute to maintenance, updates and incident resolution activities.\n- Collaborate with international technical teams across multiple locations in an on-site operational context.\n- Participate in DevOps-oriented processes and contribute to continuous improvement of infrastructure practices.\n\nWHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR\n\n- At least 3 years of professional experience in Linux server administration, preferably with RHEL environments.\n- Practical experience installing, configuring, maintaining and troubleshooting Linux systems.\n- At least 1 year of experience working with Ansible or similar automation approaches.\n- Experience supporting secure infrastructure in complex, distributed or mission-critical environments.\n- Active SECRET-level security clearance recognized for classified international environments.\n- Professional working proficiency in English.\n- Availability to work full-time on-site in Mons, Belgium, with occasional out-of-hours support when required.\n\nTECHNICAL SKILLS\n\n- Linux and Unix systems administration\n- RHEL-based infrastructure\n- Python scripting or similar programming capability\n- Ansible and configuration management\n- VMware or similar virtualization technologies\n- Linux security hardening and system protection\n- Firewalls, access control and encryption practices\n- Multi-layered systems across application, container, network and infrastructure domains\n- DevOps principles and operational practices\n- Infrastructure troubleshooting and root cause analysis\n\nNICE TO HAVE\n\n- Red Hat Certified System Administrator or equivalent Linux certification\n- Experience with Red Hat Satellite\n- Experience in large organization DevOps environments\n- Understanding of containerized and integrated systems architecture\n- Additional Linux or Unix certifications\n\nCOMPENSATION TRANSPARENCY\n\nBase salary range: EUR 18,000 - EUR 20,000 gross\/year\nTotal compensation: up to EUR 30,000\/year\nThe salary range is based on objective and gender-neutral criteria, including required competencies, professional experience, level of responsibility and role requirements.
