This role is suitable for a professional with experience in virtualization, backup, datacenter operations and infrastructure monitoring.\n\nWHAT YOU WILL DO\n\n- Administer and maintain VMware virtualization platforms.\n- Manage backup and data recovery solutions, using Dell PowerProtect Data Manager or equivalent platforms.\n- Support datacenter operations in large-scale infrastructure environments.\n- Monitor, analyze and optimize server and network infrastructure.\n- Contribute to infrastructure stability, availability and operational continuity.\n- Participate in weekly standby and on-call rotations according to operational needs.\n- Collaborate with technical teams to support reliable and secure infrastructure services.\n- Contribute to documentation, operational practices and knowledge sharing.\n\nWHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR\n\n- At least 3 years of experience as a Systems Administrator or in similar infrastructure administration roles.\n- Knowledge of virtualization technologies, especially VMware.\n- Experience with at least one backup platform, such as Dell PowerProtect Data Manager or an equivalent solution.\n- Familiarity with datacenter environments and infrastructure operations.\n- Availability to work in a hybrid model, with presence in Bobadela 1 to 2 times per week.\n- Clear communication, teamwork and a responsible approach to operational support.\n- Solution-oriented mindset, with attention to reliability, security and service continuity.\n\nTECHNICAL SKILLS\n\n- VMware\n- Backup and recovery platforms\n- Dell PowerProtect Data Manager\n- Server infrastructure\n- Network infrastructure\n- Datacenter operations\n- Infrastructure monitoring\n- Infrastructure optimization\n- Operational continuity\n- On-call support\n\nNICE TO HAVE\n\n- Experience with OracleVM.\n- Knowledge of VMware Horizon for desktop virtualization.\n- Experience with Dell storage environments, including Compellent, Unity, PowerStore or PowerScale.\n- Experience with Brocade SAN switches.\n- Familiarity with hyperconverged infrastructure platforms such as Nutanix or VxRail.\n- Experience with Dell PowerEdge servers and Dell OpenManage.\n\nCOMPENSATION TRANSPARENCY\n\nBase salary range: EUR 18,000 - EUR 20,000 gross\/year\nTotal compensation: up to EUR 30,000\/year\nThe salary range is based on objective and gender-neutral criteria, including required competencies, professional experience, level of responsibility and role requirements.
