This is an on-site role with regular presence at the client facilities three days per week, focused on availability, stability and secure network operations.\n\nWHAT YOU WILL DO\n\n- Monitor the status and availability of network and security equipment.\n- Analyze and handle first and second line support incidents and service requests.\n- Perform initial troubleshooting for connectivity, routing, NAT, VPN and firewall policy issues.\n- Analyze traffic logs, system events, authentication failures and blocked communications.\n- Support the operational management of Check Point, Cisco ASA, Fortinet, Cisco and legacy network environments.\n- Execute previously approved low and medium complexity changes, including firewall rules, network objects, groups, NAT and VPN access.\n- Collect technical evidence and relevant information to support incident escalation.\n- Follow configuration backup routines and validate defined operational procedures.\n- Support firmware, software and security signature updates according to approved procedures.\n- Keep inventories, diagrams, rule matrices, procedures and change records up to date.\n- Register all interventions in the client ticketing tool.\n- Escalate high-complexity incidents, critical outages or high-impact changes to the senior profile.\n- Participate in operational meetings and support the preparation of periodic service reports.\n\nWHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR\n\n- One to three years of experience in network support, network security or systems administration.\n- Technical or higher education in IT, networks, telecommunications, cybersecurity or an equivalent area.\n- Ability to communicate effectively in Portuguese and read technical documentation in English.\n- Structured problem analysis and resolution capability.\n- Responsible approach, with attention to procedures and operational discipline.\n- Clear communication with technical teams and users.\n- Organization and rigor when documenting interventions.\n- Ability to work under senior guidance and identify situations that require escalation.\n- Availability for regular on-site presence at the client facilities.\n\nTECHNICAL SKILLS\n\n- TCP\/IP networking fundamentals, switching and routing.\n- VLAN, subnetting, NAT, DNS, DHCP, ARP, ICMP and routing protocols.\n- Firewall concepts, IPsec VPN, SSL VPN and access control.\n- Log analysis and troubleshooting tools such as ping, traceroute, nslookup, tcpdump and Wireshark.\n- Introductory knowledge of Check Point, Cisco ASA and Fortinet platforms.\n- Cisco IOS equipment and legacy network environments.\n- Network hardening, vulnerability management and network security best practices.\n- Incident management, request fulfilment and change management processes.\n- Ticketing tools for intervention registration and operational follow-up.\n\nNICE TO HAVE\n\n- CCNA, Fortinet Certified Associate, Check Point Certified Security Administrator or equivalent certifications.\n- Experience supporting operational reports in network or security services.\n\nCOMPENSATION TRANSPARENCY\n\nBase salary range: EUR 15 000 - EUR 21 000 gross\/year\nTotal compensation: up to EUR 29 000\/year\nThe salary range is based on objective and gender-neutral criteria, including required competencies, professional experience, level of responsibility and role requirements.
