This role is based in Portugal, with a hybrid working model in Lisbon requiring three on-site days per week.\n\nWHAT YOU WILL DO\n\n- Design and implement complex full-stack features across enterprise digital platforms.\n- Contribute to identity and access management strategy, including SSO, authorization flows and access control models.\n- Define front-end engineering standards for authentication patterns, state management and performance optimization.\n- Collaborate with architecture stakeholders to support technical decisions, architecture records and roadmap contributions.\n- Identify and resolve performance, scalability and security issues across the application stack.\n- Lead code reviews and promote quality automation, secure development practices and maintainable engineering standards.\n- Mentor less experienced engineers and contribute to technical documentation, runbooks and onboarding materials.\n\nWHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR\n\n- 10 or more years of experience in full-stack software development, with strong autonomy in complex delivery contexts.\n- Proven experience with Java and React.js in enterprise application environments.\n- Ability to work with architecture, security and engineering stakeholders in a structured and collaborative way.\n- Professional working proficiency in English and Portuguese, at C1 level or equivalent.\n- Availability to work in a hybrid model in Lisbon, with three on-site days per week.\n- Current residence in Portugal.\n\nTECHNICAL SKILLS\n\n- Java\n- React.js\n- Full-stack application architecture\n- IAM and SSO concepts\n- Okta\n- OIDC authentication and authorization flows\n- Authorization server design\n- Access control models\n- Front-end authentication patterns\n- State management\n- Application performance optimization\n- SonarQube\n- Snyk\n- Secure development practices\n- Technical documentation and runbooks\n\nNICE TO HAVE\n\n- Experience contributing to architecture decision records.\n- Experience mentoring engineering teams in quality, security and delivery practices.\n\nCOMPENSATION TRANSPARENCY\n\nBase salary range: EUR 14,000 - EUR 36,000 gross\/year\nTotal compensation: up to EUR 43,000\/year\nThe salary range is based on objective and gender-neutral criteria, including required competencies, professional experience, level of responsibility and role requirements.
