This hybrid opportunity is based in Porto, with two days per week in the office, and focuses on designing, developing and maintaining complex ETL and ELT solutions for leasing-related business applications.\n\nWHAT YOU WILL DO\n\n- Design, develop and implement complex ETL and ELT solutions.\n- Extract, transform and load data from multiple sources into data warehouses and data lakes.\n- Develop and optimize advanced SQL queries for analysis, manipulation and validation.\n- Build and maintain data flows using enterprise ETL tools.\n- Ensure data quality, reliability and performance across data flows.\n- Implement quality controls and error detection mechanisms.\n- Collaborate with data analysts, business analysts and technical teams.\n- Translate business requirements into technical data solutions.\n- Participate in data modeling and database schema design.\n- Automate data loading and processing activities.\n- Document data architectures, ETL flows and technical specifications.\n- Ensure data security and compliance requirements are applied.\n- Stay up to date with emerging technologies and data engineering best practices.\n\nWHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR\n\n- More than 9 years of professional experience in IT or data-related roles, including strong experience as a Data Engineer.\n- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience designing and developing ETL solutions.\n- In-depth mastery of SQL for querying, manipulating and optimizing relational databases.\n- Significant experience with at least one major ETL tool.\n- Solid knowledge of relational databases and data warehouse environments.\n- Understanding of data modeling principles such as star schema and snowflake schema.\n- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.\n- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.\n- Good communication skills and ability to explain technical concepts clearly.\n- Professional working proficiency in English.\n\nTECHNICAL SKILLS\n\n- ETL\n- ELT\n- SQL\n- Informatica PowerCenter\n- ODI\n- Oracle Data Integrator\n- Talend\n- Stambia\n- Oracle\n- SQL Server\n- PostgreSQL\n- Relational databases\n- NoSQL databases\n- Data warehouses\n- Data lakes\n- Data modeling\n- Star schema\n- Snowflake schema\n- Data quality controls\n- Error detection mechanisms\n- Data flow optimization\n- Data loading automation\n- Data processing automation\n- Database schema design\n- Technical documentation\n- Data security\n- Compliance practices\n\nNICE TO HAVE\n\n- Experience with leasing or financial services applications.\n- Experience with multiple enterprise ETL platforms.\n- Awareness of information security, ISO\/IEC 27001 or cybersecurity best practices.\n\nCOMPENSATION TRANSPARENCY\n\nBase salary range: EUR 22 000 - EUR 32 000 gross\/year\nTotal compensation: up to EUR 40 000\/year\nThe salary range is based on objective and gender-neutral criteria, including required competencies, professional experience, level of responsibility and role requirements.
