The Pre-Construction Project Manager<\/strong> leads the early development phase of high-voltage (HV) substation and medium-voltage (MV) distribution projects, mainly for data centers and industrial clients in the Scandinavian market.<\/p>\n

This role bridges the gap between the commercial\/bid phase and the construction execution phase. The manager ensures projects are technically feasible, financially aligned, properly planned, and fully prepared before handover to the construction delivery team.<\/p>\n

Key responsibilities:<\/strong><\/h4>\n
Lead Pre-Construction Project Development<\/h5>\n
    \n
  • \nDefine project scope, objectives, milestones, and deliverables.\n<\/li>\n
  • \nCoordinate internal engineering, procurement, planning, and commercial teams.\n<\/li>\n
  • \nEnsure a smooth transition to the construction delivery team.\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
    Coordinate Engineering & Design Activities<\/h5>\n
      \n
    • \nOversee concept and basic design development.\n<\/li>\n
    • \nEnsure integration across electrical disciplines such as:<\/li>\n
    • \nCoordinate external engineering partners for civil, structural, and mechanical design.<\/li>\n
    • Serve as the main contact during the pre-construction phase.<\/li>\n
    • Contact with Stakeholdes, clients and Regulatory authorities<\/li>\n
    • \nClarify technical specifications and commercial expectations.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
      Control Planning, Cost & Tender Processes<\/h5>\n
      Handle Risk, Feasibility & Execution Readiness<\/h5>\n<\/p>\n

      Requirements:<\/h4>\n

      Education:<\/strong> Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering.<\/p>\n

      Excellent English communication skills.<\/p>\n

      Availability<\/strong> to travel to Norway<\/strong> or any Scandinavian Country<\/strong><\/p>\n

      Experience:<\/strong> Minimum 7+ years of experience in project management or engineering coordination.<\/p>\n

      \tExperience coordinating multidisciplinary teams, including management of external engineering partners.<\/p>\n

      \tExperience with grid connection processes and TSO\/DSO interface management.<\/p>\n

      \tExperience in HV substation or data center projects is preferred.<\/p>\n

      \tStrong understanding of project lifecycle from concept to execution.<\/p>\n

      \tExperience with project scheduling and coordination tools (MS Project, Primavera P6)<\/p>\n

      Knowledge of HV substation design and MV distribution <\/p>\n

      \tFamiliarity with electrical redundancy concepts (N+1, 2N, concurrent maintainability).<\/p>\n

      \tProficiency with ACC (Autodesk Construction Cloud) for project documentation and coordination.<\/p>\n
