Responsibilities include designing and implementing tests, debugging and defining corrective actions and creating and executing automated testing. Review of system requirements and tracking quality assurance metrics (e.g. defect densities and open defect counts.) are also part of the role.\nThe second function for this role is to help create and manage test data for our new product development. The test data is critical for defining test scenarios, edge cases, and ensuring full coverage for all situations.
