We are looking for an experienced Data Analyst / Data Engineer to join a data-focused technology environment within the banking sector. This opportunity combines business analysis, data modeling, business intelligence and data engineering, contributing to the development of reliable and scalable data solutions. You will work with business and technical stakeholders to transform information requirements into structured data models, reporting capabilities and optimized data integration processes.

O QUE VAI FAZER

- Collaborate with business stakeholders to analyze data requirements and translate them into functional and technical specifications.
- Design and maintain relational and dimensional data models to support analytical and reporting requirements.
- Develop and optimize data warehouse structures using star and snowflake schemas.
- Design and maintain business intelligence reports and dashboards that support operational and strategic decision-making.
- Develop, test and maintain ETL/ELT processes for data extraction, transformation and integration.
- Implement data integration solutions using Stambia or equivalent ETL technologies.
- Optimize SQL queries, data transformations and pipeline performance.
- Establish automated data validation controls to improve data quality, consistency and integrity.
- Maintain technical documentation, data dictionaries and data lineage information.
- Collaborate with data engineering teams to ensure the alignment of technical implementations with business requirements.
- Investigate data inconsistencies and contribute to continuous improvement of data processing and reporting solutions.

O QUE PROCURAMOS

- 6 to 9 years of professional experience in data analysis, data engineering, business intelligence or related areas.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Finance or a related field.
- Proven experience combining business requirements analysis with hands-on data engineering activities.
- Strong analytical capabilities and a structured approach to problem-solving.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to business and technical stakeholders.
- Experience delivering data solutions with autonomy, accountability and attention to quality.
- Professional working proficiency in French (minimum B2).
- Fluent English, written and spoken, for international collaboration and technical documentation.
- Collaborative mindset, adaptability and a proactive approach to continuous improvement.

COMPETÊNCIAS TÉCNICAS

- Advanced SQL, including complex queries, joins, stored procedures and query optimization.
- Relational database management and data warehouse architecture.
- Dimensional data modeling, including Kimball methodology, star schemas and snowflake schemas.
- ETL/ELT development, data transformation and integration processes.
- Experience with Stambia or comparable ETL technologies such as Talend, Informatica, SSIS, Azure Data Factory or dbt.
- Data quality validation, automated controls and troubleshooting.
- Data governance principles, including data lineage, metadata management and data dictionaries.
- Business intelligence reporting and dashboard design.
- Data pipeline performance optimization and technical documentation.

Desejável

- Practical experience with Stambia and its integration capabilities.
- Power BI experience, including DAX and Power Query/M.
- Previous experience in banking, financial services or insurance environments.
- Familiarity with financial data, risk management or regulatory requirements.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure, AWS or Google Cloud Platform.
- Knowledge of Python or Unix/Linux scripting.
- Experience adapting existing data integration processes to new tools or architectures.
