What you will be doing
- Participate actively in the agile-based software development life-cycle, including conducting technical analysis, documenting, developing, testing, and reviewing code.
- Collaborate closely with the production support team to release and maintain components.
- Collaborate closely with other developers to determine and adhere to the best development and architecture practices.
- Propose and provide feedback on architecture, design, technology choices, and the technological direction of the platform based on experience and knowledge.
- Train and mentor less experienced team members through instruction, pair programming, and code review.
- Actively contribute to requirement and design meetings for new functionality.
- Develop reference implementations and documentation for platform features.
- Moderate and review development contributions from the development community.
What you will bring
- Possess extensive software development experience in an enterprise environment.
- Demonstrate strong proficiency and experience in JavaScript, TypeScript and CSS development.
- Familiarity with JavaScript libraries and other web technologies, as well as reactive extensions and real-time systems.
- Possess excellent knowledge of programming best practices, design patterns, and industry standards.
- Display a strong interest in continuous improvement and all aspects of software development and delivery.
- Exhibit a good understanding of test-driven development and continuous integration practices.
- Possess a solid understanding of relational databases and have appropriate SQL knowledge.
- Demonstrate strong communication skills, both verbal and written, within the team and with external stakeholders.
- Show a strong desire to learn quickly and adapt to a fast-changing environment.
