The role focuses on incident resolution, critical change validation, technical coordination and the stabilization of a heterogeneous environment with Check Point, Cisco ASA, Fortinet, Cisco and legacy technologies. Regular on-site presence at the client facilities is required three days per week.\n\nWHAT YOU WILL DO\n\n- Provide second and third line support for network and security equipment.\n- Investigate and resolve complex incidents related to connectivity, routing, switching, NAT, VPN, authentication and security policies.\n- Administer and support Check Point clusters, including synchronization analysis, member status, policies, objects, VPN and logs.\n- Administer Cisco ASA and Fortinet firewalls, including policies, NAT, VPN, high availability and troubleshooting.\n- Support the operation of routers, switches and other Cisco or legacy network equipment.\n- Analyze traffic captures, routing tables, sessions, cluster states, logs and communication flows.\n- Plan, implement and validate medium and high complexity changes.\n- Assess technical risk and impact before implementing changes.\n- Define implementation, validation and rollback plans.\n- Coordinate technical interventions with vendors, telecommunications operators, integrators and internal teams.\n- Perform periodic configuration reviews to identify obsolete rules, excessive permissions, duplicated objects and risk-prone configurations.\n- Support update, migration, replacement or decommissioning processes for legacy equipment.\n- Define and improve operational procedures, runbooks, escalation matrices and configuration standards.\n- Ensure the quality of technical documentation, including diagrams, inventories, rule matrices, communication flows and change records.\n- Guide and support the work of the junior technician.\n- Technically validate interventions performed by the junior profile.\n- Produce operational reports, identify recurring risks and present improvement recommendations.\n- Participate in service meetings, critical incident management, problem management and change planning.\n- Support service recovery during critical outages or security incidents.\n\nWHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR\n\n- At least five years of experience in network and security administration and support.\n- Proven experience in enterprise environments with multiple vendors and heterogeneous technologies.\n- Higher education or specialized technical training in IT, networks, telecommunications, cybersecurity or an equivalent area.\n- Technical communication capability in Portuguese and English.\n- Strong diagnostic capability and structured resolution of complex problems.\n- Autonomy, responsibility and decision-making capability in critical situations.\n- Technical leadership capability and ability to guide less experienced profiles.\n- Rigor when assessing risks, impacts and operational dependencies.\n- Clear communication with technical teams, service managers, suppliers and client stakeholders.\n- Ability to work in environments with operational pressure and business-critical dependencies.\n- Focus on stability, continuous improvement and risk reduction.\n\nTECHNICAL SKILLS\n\n- Advanced TCP\/IP, routing, switching, NAT, VPN and network segmentation.\n- Check Point Security Gateway, Gaia, SmartConsole, ClusterXL, security policies, NAT and VPN.\n- Cisco ASA administration and troubleshooting.\n- FortiGate and FortiManager administration, when applicable.\n- Cisco IOS, IOS-XE or NX-OS.\n- Advanced traffic analysis using tcpdump, Wireshark and vendor diagnostic commands.\n- BGP, OSPF, HSRP, VRRP, STP, VLAN, ACL and high availability.\n- Firmware upgrade, migration, backup, restore and disaster recovery processes for security equipment.\n- Network hardening, vulnerability management, access control and network security principles.\n- Operation of unsupported equipment, incomplete documentation contexts and legacy technologies.\n- Incident, problem, change and configuration management, preferably aligned with ITIL.\n\nNICE TO HAVE\n\n- CCNP Enterprise, CCNP Security, Check Point Certified Security Expert, Fortinet Certified Professional or equivalent certifications.\n- Experience supporting service evolution, operational optimization and legacy infrastructure modernization.\n- Exposure to cybersecurity best practices in regulated or business-critical environments.\n\nCOMPENSATION TRANSPARENCY\n\nBase salary range: EUR 28 000 - EUR 40 000 gross\/year\nTotal compensation: up to EUR 50 000\/year\nThe salary range is based on objective and gender-neutral criteria, including required competencies, professional experience, level of responsibility and role requirements.
