This opportunity is based in Lisbon, with a hybrid working model requiring three days on-site per week, and is intended for candidates already living in Portugal.\n\nWHAT YOU WILL DO\n\n- Develop and maintain Java microservices under the guidance of senior engineers.\n- Implement REST and GraphQL APIs following established API documentation and standardization practices.\n- Write unit and integration tests and contribute to quality gates across the delivery pipeline.\n- Follow secure coding practices, coding standards and pull request processes using Git-based workflows.\n- Support identity and access management integrations with guidance from senior peers.\n- Participate in agile ceremonies, including planning, daily meetings and retrospectives.\n- Engage proactively in structured technical upskilling activities.\n\nWHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR\n\n- At least 2 years of experience in backend development with Java.\n- Professional working proficiency in English and Portuguese at C1 level.\n- Ability to work in a supervised engineering environment while progressively increasing autonomy.\n- Collaborative, responsible and solution-oriented mindset.\n- Availability to work in a hybrid model in Lisbon, with three days on-site per week.\n\nTECHNICAL SKILLS\n\n- Java\n- Microservices architecture\n- REST APIs\n- GraphQL\n- OpenAPI documentation practices\n- Unit and integration testing\n- SonarQube\n- Snyk\n- GitLab\n- Agile delivery practices\n- IAM concepts\n- Keycloak\n- Okta\n- OIDC\n- React\n\nNICE TO HAVE\n\n- Experience supporting secure authentication and authorization flows.\n- Familiarity with frontend integration using React.\n\nCOMPENSATION TRANSPARENCY\n\nBase salary range: EUR 13,000 - EUR 21,000 gross\/year\nTotal compensation: up to EUR 26,000\/year\nThe salary range is based on objective and gender-neutral criteria, including required competencies, professional experience, level of responsibility and role requirements.
