This is an on-site opportunity based in Mons, Belgium, within a classified operational environment.\n\nWHAT YOU WILL DO\n- Provide Level 2 support for incidents, service requests, change requests and operational tasks.\n- Troubleshoot, document and resolve tickets according to internal procedures and service targets.\n- Escalate complex issues to Level 3 teams and support resolution activities.\n- Install, maintain, monitor and support ISR applications and classified services.\n- Apply patches, updates and security fixes according to approved schedules.\n- Support server, application and configuration lifecycle management.\n- Maintain operational readiness, availability and service continuity.\n- Support change, release and deployment activities.\n- Contribute to validation, verification and user acceptance testing.\n- Automate operational tasks using scripting, DevOps tools and APIs.\n- Support infrastructure administration, access management and system configuration.\n- Maintain data, configuration records and service integrity.\n- Support SQL queries, data cleanup and database consistency checks.\n- Maintain monitoring, logging, telemetry and performance visibility.\n- Contribute to root cause analysis using logs, metrics and traces.\n- Participate in operational meetings, stand-ups, workshops and knowledge sharing.\n- Provide subject matter support to users and stakeholder communities.\n- Support on-call rotation and flexible shifts when required.\n\nWHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR\n- Minimum 5 years of experience in systems, infrastructure, application support or service operations.\n- Strong experience with Windows Server, Windows Client, Active Directory, IIS and Linux administration.\n- Experience with virtualisation, preferably VMware or System Center-integrated environments.\n- Experience with Docker, Podman or similar container technologies.\n- Experience with automation, scripting and platform operations.\n- Experience with Microsoft SQL Server administration, SQL scripting and relational databases.\n- Strong understanding of TCP\/IP, OSI model, DNS, DHCP, GPO, WSUS and load balancing.\n- Knowledge of PKI, certificate management, authentication systems and firewall principles.\n- Experience with monitoring, logging and observability practices.\n- Ability to work independently and within multinational teams.\n- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills under operational pressure.\n- Professional working proficiency in English.\n- Active Secret-level security clearance valid for the engagement.\n- Availability to work on-site in Mons, Belgium.\n- Availability for on-call rotation and flexible shift schedules.\n\nTECHNICAL SKILLS\n- Windows Server\n- Windows Client\n- Active Directory\n- IIS\n- Linux\n- VMware\n- System Center\n- Docker\n- Podman\n- Ansible\n- REST APIs\n- JSON\n- Python\n- Bash\n- PowerShell\n- Azure DevOps\n- AWS\n- CI\/CD\n- Microservices\n- Apache Kafka\n- Microsoft SQL Server\n- SQL\n- PostgreSQL\n- TCP\/IP\n- DNS\n- DHCP\n- GPO\n- WSUS\n- Load balancing\n- PKI\n- ADFS\n- RAID\n- High availability\n- Prometheus\n- Grafana\n- Elastic Stack\n- Logstash\n- Elasticsearch\n- Kibana\n- IT service management\n- Change and release management\n- User acceptance testing\n- Configuration management\n- Incident root cause analysis\n\nNICE TO HAVE\n- Experience with secure enterprise or defence environments.\n- Knowledge of federated application services.\n- Software engineering background covering design, development and testing.\n- Experience with distributed systems or service-oriented architectures.\n- WSO2\n- Apache Camel\n- Redis\n- Neo4j\n- Java\n- Angular\n- TypeScript\n- JavaScript\n- C#\n- HTML5\n- OData\n- XML\n- XSD\n- Agile methodology\n- Familiarity with ISO\/IEC 27001 or cybersecurity best practices.\n\nCOMPENSATION TRANSPARENCY\nBase salary range: EUR 18 000 -
