This is a hybrid opportunity based in Parque das Na\u00e7\u00f5es, Lisbon, with two days per week in the office.\n\nWHAT YOU WILL DO\n\n- Ensure daily Oracle database operations, including monitoring, performance tuning and incident resolution.\n- Administer Oracle environments, including installation, patching, backups, RMAN and Data Guard.\n- Support Oracle Database Appliance, Oracle Standalone and high-availability production platforms.\n- Safeguard database security, availability and compliance through access control, encryption and GDPR-aware practices.\n- Support deployments, migrations and upgrade activities across production and project contexts.\n- Document, standardise and improve operational procedures.\n- Drive proactive monitoring, reliability improvements and continuous operational optimisation.\n- Collaborate with IT, solution teams and external stakeholders when required.\n- Participate in on-call support for mission-critical environments.\n\nWHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR\n\n- 7 or more years of experience as an Oracle Database Administrator.\n- Strong operational mindset, with experience supporting critical production environments.\n- Proven ability to work autonomously with rigour, ownership and analytical thinking.\n- Experience working in fast-paced environments where reliability, availability and quality are essential.\n- Professional working proficiency in English.\n- Availability to work standard business hours, with on-call participation when required.\n\nTECHNICAL SKILLS\n\n- Oracle Database 12c and 19c.\n- Oracle Database Appliance ODA-X9.\n- Oracle Standalone.\n- Oracle Data Guard.\n- Oracle RMAN.\n- Oracle ASM.\n- Oracle Enterprise Manager.\n- Backup and restore with Commvault.\n- Unix.\n- Oracle Enterprise Linux.\n- Scripting.\n- Database performance tuning.\n- High-availability production environments.\n- Access control, encryption and GDPR-aware database practices.\n- Operational documentation and procedure industrialisation.\n- Cybersecurity and information security best practices.\n\nNICE TO HAVE\n\n- Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server.\n- Hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server.\n\nCOMPENSATION TRANSPARENCY\n\nBase salary range: EUR 18,000 - EUR 22,000 gross\/year\nTotal compensation: up to EUR 35,000\/year\nThe salary range is based on objective and gender-neutral criteria, including required competencies, professional experience, level of responsibility and role requirements.
