This opportunity is based in Parque das Na\u00e7\u00f5es, Lisbon, with a hybrid working model including two days per week at the office.\n\nWHAT YOU WILL DO\n\n- Ensure the stability, availability and operational quality of WebSphere services in production.\n- Manage incident analysis, troubleshooting, service restoration, restart and recovery activities.\n- Support monitoring reviews, standard changes, patching and lifecycle management activities.\n- Contribute to the modernization and migration of WebSphere Application Server environments to Liberty.\n- Support platform optimization through performance follow-up, server resource analysis and runtime stability improvements.\n- Coordinate application packaging, release activities and handovers with middleware, infrastructure, application and scheduling teams.\n- Produce and maintain clear operational documentation, migration runbooks and support procedures.\n- Manage L2 and L3-oriented RUN activities autonomously, escalating risks and blockers appropriately.\n- Support deployment-related activities through automation and orchestration tools.\n- Participate in on-call support when required by the operational context.\n\nWHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR\n\n- At least 5 years of experience in middleware operations, application server support or production support.\n- Proven delivery experience in at least one completed migration from WebSphere ND or WebSphere Base to Liberty.\n- Strong autonomy in complex support cases within critical or high-availability environments.\n- Ability to work in regulated production contexts with discipline, ownership and attention to operational risk.\n- Good coordination skills with technical teams, including legacy, infrastructure, application and scheduling stakeholders.\n- Professional working proficiency in English at C1 level.\n- French proficiency at A1 level.\n- A collaborative, responsible and solution-oriented mindset aligned with transparent communication and mutual support.\n\nTECHNICAL SKILLS\n\n- WebSphere Application Server administration\n- WebSphere ND\n- WebSphere Base\n- Liberty configuration, deployment and troubleshooting\n- Linux\n- Unix\n- JVM fundamentals\n- Log analysis\n- Application server runtime troubleshooting\n- Incident management\n- Monitoring\n- Service restoration\n- Performance optimization\n- Server resource analysis\n- Platform stability improvement\n- Application packaging\n- Release coordination\n- XLD\n- XLR\n- Deployment and orchestration tools\n- Ansible\n- Shell scripting\n- Python\n- TWS or workload automation dependency management\n- Obsolescence and technical debt remediation\n- Migration runbook production\n- COBOL ecosystem constraints and interfaces\n\nNICE TO HAVE\n\n- Experience in financial services environments.\n- Experience in regulated or high-availability production environments.\n- Knowledge of ISO\/IEC 27001-aligned information security practices.\n- Awareness of cybersecurity best practices for production and middleware environments.\n\nCOMPENSATION TRANSPARENCY\n\nBase salary range: EUR 18 000 - EUR 22 000 gross\/year\nTotal compensation: up to EUR 35 000\/year\nThe salary range is based on objective and gender-neutral criteria, including required competencies, professional experience, level of responsibility and role requirements.
